There's a snake in mah movie!

Here is a shot I have done and re-done.  Like 3 times.  I would seriously appreciate some feedback on the timing and execution.  Seriously.  I'm not looking for any "Ooooh, that looks neat!" comments ... though I'd appreciate those too... just not as much.  Thank you!

A couple pencil tests for ya'll

Sorry for not posting in quite a while.  Fear not, though!  I have been hard at work on my animation.  Here be a couple test shots; one of Coyote and one of Vulture.  The first one is super old and needs some major tweaks.  Basically, it's Coyote shakily rising up from the ground after having passed out not long before.  Not sure if I got that across here, but I think I know how to make it better.  And sorry if the visual quality's not the best.  I did both of these using a down-shooter camera.  Kickin' it old-school, yo.

The next one is just a little flight test I did for fun (it probably won't make it to the final film).  And as you can tell, I'm really trying to get a feel for Vulture's movements.  Thankfully, I'm going for a more realistic representation of the bird (and coyote), and there is a surprising amount of Youtube videos featuring turkey vultures.  Aww, the beauty of reference vids...

Stuff worth sharing

Hi!  Welcome to this here blog of mine!  I guess it's about time I started showing progress on my senior thesis animation.  It's called "Vulture & Coyote," and it's a 2D animation, done traditionally.  It's about these two animals (try to guess their species) that meet up in a desert.  At first they hate/just want to eat each other, then they become friends somehow and go on a journey together.  All without dialogue, and within the span of 4 and 1/2 minutes!  And to tell you anymore would give away too much.  Anyway, here's a couple of model sheets for the two lead characters:

There's lots more to come, it just takes me forever to post things.  SO STAY TUNED!!!
